Planning fees are typically either a flat fee or a percentage of total event spend (commonly 10–15%), depending on how much of the planning — vendor coordination only, vs. full design and day-of management — you hand off.

Some planners offer day-of coordination only, covering timeline and vendor management on the event itself without full planning involvement — worth asking about if you've already handled the booking yourself.
